On Good Friday my teammates Abby and Chloe were out sharing the gospel and noticed a young woman taking selfies while waiting for her train in Germany.

“We felt prompted to approach her, so we simply asked if she needed prayer. That small question opened the door to a much deeper conversation.

When we asked if she knew Jesus, she said “yes.” Chloe followed up by asking, “Who is Jesus to you?” She shared her thoughts, then turned the question back to us. That exchange led to a heartfelt discussion about Jesus—not about religion which has often misrepresented Him, but as the living Savior that we have a personal relationship with.

We talked about how the Bible has shaped our lives, how it speaks directly to our hearts, and how it’s more than just an old book—it’s alive. She admitted she had never read it herself. But after hearing our stories, she paused, visibly moved, and said: “This is making me want to read the Bible. I never thought I’d say that.”

Ten minutes later, we walked into a bookstore—and saw her buying a Bible for her three-hour train ride.”
